The heat is on, keep your roses well watered if there is less than one inch of rain each week. Roses will grow better with water soluble fertilizers applied every few weeks. Prune off the dead blooms, but keep as much foliage on the your rose plants as possible. Rose foliage provide the energy the plant needs to improve the its vigor.
