Water, Water, Water

Rose blooms will be smaller in the summer because of the heat.  The most important ingredient to keep your roses healthy is water.   Your roses can be fertilized with a water soluble one if needed, just don’t let the soil dry out.  Prune off only the blooms.  Keep as many leaves on your bushes as possible.  In mid-August you will do some more pruning to prepare for the fall blooming season.
