Your roses should be in full bloom now. Be sure to cut off the old blooms, aka deadheading, go down to the second set for five leaves and cut above the five leaves. Don’t worry about the angle. Fertilize with a some type of organic fertilizer of your choice. Remember that organic fertilizers only last 6 weeks, if you don’t use a slow release fertilizer, you will need to fertilize again every 6 weeks to keep your roses well fed.
