If you want to add some roses to your landscape, now is the time. Many garden centers stock roses this time of year and not in the fall. Head-Lee Nursery in Seneca and Winslett’s Garden Center in Easley bring in roses bare-root. They pot them up, feed them and have them ready for sale now. Go to www.rose.org and buy the 2023 ARS Handbook for Selecting Roses. This handbook rates hundreds of roses and will help you pick the good ones.
